The International Conference on Nonlinear Optics and Excitation Kinetics in Semiconductors (NOEKS) 2025 held in Marburg was the 17th meeting in a series with the outstanding tradition of bringing together leading scientists in the field of semiconductor optics. NOEKS 17 followed this tradition by covering the most recent developments in this rapidly evolving field, which involve advanced and new materials, novel experimental techniques, and recent theoretical progress. The conference provided plenty of opportunities for discussions.
