TU Darmstadt and University Marburg concentrate technology expertise
Specially loaded particles, so-called excitons, which are related pairs of electrons and holes, are focused in the research projects carried out in Marburg for "QuEnergy".
We are excited to be part of the new LOEWE Priority Programme QuEnergy, funded by the State of Hesse. Together with our partners at Philipps-University Marburg and TU Darmstadt, we will investigate novel quantum materials for future energy-efficient photonic and quantum technologies.
Within QuEnergy, our research in Marburg focuses on excitons in atomically thin magnetic materials. We aim to understand how excitons interact with magnetic order and how these interactions can be harnessed to realize new functionalities in quantum materials.
We look forward to working with our collaborators and to the exciting science ahead!
