Anti-feminism in the Russia-Ukraine War: Controversies Surrounding the National Mobilization of Women, Men, and Queer Citizens

The GenDem subproject focuses on issues related to the restructuring of social roles for women and LGBTQ+ individuals and the rise of anti-feminism in Ukraine, which has been exacerbated by the war. The research centers on actors, networks, institutions, memory politics, and discourses on occupation within the geopolitical tension between Western integration, war, and “anti-gender” mobilization.
