Excitonic Devices

Based on our understanding of excitons in 2D semiconductors — their transport, recombination, interactions, and coupling to spin, valley, and moiré degrees of freedom — we develop device concepts that exploit these properties for next-generation optoelectronics. Our work focuses on strategies to guide exciton flow and recombination, and achieve stable, controllable light emission. By translating exciton physics into reliable device architectures, we aim to advance excitonic and valleytronic technologies and realize novel quantum-light sources as alternatives to conventional electronics.
