Doctoral candidates
For researchers doing a PhD, our M4C Graduate Program offers a structured, interdisciplinary framework consisting of scientific training and career development embedded in a comprehensive three-year program.
The program is designed to provide doctoral researchers with first-class scientific education through an individualized research coaching, complemented by joint seminars, workshops, courses and retreats. It opens doors for scientific exchange and innovative collaborations and to prepare the ECRs for a wide range of academic and professional career paths.
Throughout their doctoral journey, candidates receive continuous support to advance their research projects while developing key scientific and transferable skills essential for their future careers. In addition to the guidance from their primary supervisor, each doctoral candidate is supported by a dedicated Thesis Advisory Committee (TAC), ensuring high quality mentoring and comprehensive career development.
From day one, doctoral researchers are also encouraged to co-create and shape their training experience: they actively develop the annual retreat program and contribute to the constant evolution of the cluster’s educational culture.
