High process computing (HPC)

Depending on the discipline and research approach, high computing capacities are needed to adequately process research data. To meet this need, the computing capacities of four universities are bundled in the Hessian Competence Center for High-Performance Computing (HKHLR) High-performance computers are available at the TU Darmstadt, at the Goethe-University, at the JLU Gießen as well as at the Philipps-Universität Marburg and at the University of Kassel. The HKHLR is also connected to Tier 2, 1 and 0 capacities in Germany and Europe. In addition, the HKHLR offers a wide range of services
