License server

The HRZ operates so-called license servers for some commercial products. These regulate the availability of corresponding software licenses.

Whether you need to obtain licenses via a license server depends on the product and the license type. The reseller or the HRZ will usually provide you with all the necessary Information for setting up products for which you have obtained licenses via the central license agreements of the HRZ.
