The MCDCI supports and connects interdisciplinary research with digital methods and the digital transformation of the humanities and social sciences, brings methological and technological innovation to these disciplines, and reflects critically upon the digital transformation of science and society. The center also actively participates in developing and running functional scientific infrastructures in accordance with the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI).
