01.04.2024 The Collaborative Research Center "Dynamics of Security" welcomes visiting fellow Eva Maria Gajek

The CRC “Dynamics of Security” welcomes Dr. Eva Maria Gajek (Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies, Cologne), who will be a Visiting Fellow from April to October 2024 in subproject C01 "Advanced Security" under the direction of Prof. Dr. Eckart Conze and Dr. Benjamin Brendel. Eva Gajek's research focuses on the history of wealth inequality and wealth. She recently completed her habilitation  „Auf der Suche nach den Reichen. Eine Wissens-und Wahrnehmungsgeschichte der sozialen Gruppe in Deutschlands langem 20. Jahrhundert“ ("In search of the rich. A History of Knowledge and Perception of the Social Group in Germany in the Long 20th Century") and will focus on questions of insecurity and inequality for her new research project as part of the fellowship.
