Science Communication

Science communication is a central component of the public relations work of the Collaborative Research Center. Its goal is to give the research findings from the subprojects and concept groups a high degree of visibility and to make them accessible to the broader public. Through a variety of digital and analog formats of knowledge transfer we intend to address interested scientists as well as target groups outside the scientific community.

Existing formats of knowledge transfer are the book series "Politiken der Sicherheit | Politics of Security", the Working Paper series, the podcast "Mit Sicherheit im Gespräch" and regular virtual book presentations. In addition, the Collaborative Research Center continuously organizes lectures, roundtables, panels at international conferences, special issues, and contributions for political and school education.
