The Marburg School of Microbiology is localized at the Philipps-Universität Marburg and the study program is designed in close collaboration with the Center for Synthetic Microbiology (SYNMIKRO).

More than 30 research groups contribute to the excellent education of our highly interdisciplinary, structured curriculum in all areas of microbiology including Microbial Ecology and Physiology, Cellular and Molecular Microbiology, Microbial Biochemistry and Structural Biology and Systems and Synthetic Biology.
