MAGKS
MAGKS is an Inter-University Partnership
in Economics founded to provide PhD courses for the doctoral students
at the Economics Departments of the Universities of Marburg, Aachen,
Gießen, Göttingen, Kassel, and Siegen. Within this framework, courses
in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Quantitative Methods at a
doctoral level with a research-oriented focus are provided every

EFI
EFI (Economics, Finance and Innovation) Summer School is part of the PhD program of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics of the University of Marburg. EFI has been established with the intention of setting up an international PhD program in close cooperation with the University of Kent at Canterbury, but is open to further national and international cooperation. EFI takes place in blocked form during the first two weeks of September each year.
EFI consists of three component: coures
that increase the methodological and technical skills of participants
(first component), PhD presentations (second component), and soft
skills courses (third component).
