Bachelor­/Master projects and jobs

Are you interested in our research? Great! Whether you like to solve problems in the lab or prefer to work on demanding datasets, we will certainly find the right project. 

Potential topics for a thesis could be:

• • Optical characterization of perovskite semiconductors
  • Diffusion of photoexcitations at low temperatures
  • Spatially resolved spectroscopy of defected semiconductors
  • Setting up a Fourier microscopy experiment to characterize crystalline organic semiconductors
  • Setting up a pump probe experiment

Lately, we have identified several additional tasks for which we could need help from bachelor or master students:

• • Characterization of the luminescence properties and broadband white light emission of organic/inorganic cluster compounds (Bachelor)
  • Optical investigation of single molecular layers in a Langmuir-Blodgett trough (Bachelor)
  • Assembly of a photonic crystal fibre and characterization of the emitted white light with a streak camera (Bachelor)
  • Setting up a Raman microscope for temperature dependent Raman spectroscopy (Master)
