Pre-contractual arrangements such as non-disclosure agreements and material transfer agreements are important as they protect the rights and interests of both parties and ensure that the collaboration runs smoothly and successfully.

Non-disclosure Agreements

Non-disclosure agreements play a crucial role in ensuring the confidentiality of information and data exchanged during a collaboration. Especially in research projects where sensitive information or patents are developed, confidentiality is of the utmost importance.

Material-Transfer-Agreements (MTA)

Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs) are important to regulate the rights and interests of the parties involved in the transfer of materials, such as samples, cells or software. They safeguard the rights of the material producer and the recipient and prevent misuse or unauthorized transfer of materials.
