Astrophysics

The Astrophysics Group is a growing research group investigating galaxy formation and the evolution of large-scale structures in the universe. Our work is based on state-of-the-art numerical simulations and high-performance computing and is closely linked to current observational programs. We utilize extensively established simulations that enable detailed investigations into galaxy formation, reionization, and the physics of the early universe.

With the further expansion of the group, we are creating a professional and collaborative working environment that supports both fundamental research and student projects. Our work environment values collaboration, scientific curiosity, and professional development.

Research Topics

  • Cosmological Simulations
  • Galaxy Formation and Evolution Over Cosmic Time
  • Physics of Reionization and Structure Formation in the Early Universe
  • Models for Dark Matter and Dark Energy
