02.08.2023 Bismuth-based Ligands!

Dibismuthanes are compounds featuring a Bi-Bi single bond. In Felix' und Sebastián's contribution, it is demonstrated that this structural motif can be combined with olefin functional groups and readily undergoes insertion reactions with chalcogen species. The potential of the resulting compounds to act as hybrid ligands towards electron-rich transition metal centers is evaluated by theoretical methods.
