Research group Janis Mueller

The Müller lab is a junior research group that investigates the interplay between viruses and human endogenous extracellular vesicles. Our research focus lies on flaviviruses, whose attachment and entry into target cells is inhibited by body fluid-derived extracellular vesicles. The Müller lab wants to understand this innate antiviral mechanism and study its implications for virus transmission and potential clinical applications.
