HessenKohorte2042

Description

The HessenKohorte2042 is a prospective longitudinal study in which 1000 people with Parkinson's disease and their carers will be followed for up to 20 years. A range of methods will be used, from clinical examinations and self-reports to urine and stool samples and brain imaging. The focus is on the quality of life of patients and carers. Aim of the study The aim of the study is to identify factors that have a significant impact on the quality of life of patients and carers. Rather than using the concept of quality of life, as previous studies have done, we want to look at quality of life as a multifaceted phenomenon in its entirety.
