Quantitative study on the perception of safety of patients with idiopathic Parkinson's disease (iPD)

Description

Ensuring patient safety is one of the fundamental pillars of medical care. Patients are increasingly being recognized as key contributors to the improvement of healthcare quality and safety. As a result, there is a growing demand to actively involve patients in the process of ensuring their own safety.

In this regard, a cross-sectional study is being conducted to determine the frequency of feelings of uncertainty among patients with idiopathic Parkinson's disease and to quantify the associated factors that lead to a reduced sense of safety. The resulting insights will be used to enhance the care of patients with idiopathic Parkinson's disease by avoiding situations or conditions that compromise their sense of safety and addressing the underlying causes more effectively.

By conducting this study, we aim to empower patients with Parkinson's disease and promote a collaborative approach to healthcare delivery, where patients are active partners in ensuring their own safety. This will not only improve the quality of care for patients but also enhance their overall healthcare experience.
