31.07.2020 RDMO Community Meeting

As part of the RDMO working group, the HeFDI University TU Darmstadt is co-organising a virtual community meeting on the Research Data Management Organiser (RDMO) tool on 7 October 2020.

RDMO is a software, developed with DFG funding to create and maintain data management plans. With these, researchers can plan the strategy for handling research data in the respective project and adapt it during the course of the project. The TU Darmstadt has been involved in the RDMO community for a long time and is already participating in the organisation of the community workshop for the second time.

At the meeting on 7 October, the transition from the DFG project to the RDMO working group will be further presented and discussed.

The TU Darmstadt offers this service for the HeFDI universities and beyond.

The Community Meeting will present the new organisational structure of RDMO, the opportunities for participation and news about RDMO. The Workshop is supported by the RDMO DFG project. The programme will include reports and presentations (NFDI Directorate requested) as well as interactive sessions.

Registration is closed.

 # RDMO Memorandum of Understanding

The core of the new organisational form of RDMO as a working group (WG) is a Memorandum of Understanding, which describes the aims and working methods of the WG and which each organisation can sign to express its participation. We will discuss the details on 7 October.

Anyone who would like to find out more about the memorandum or even wants to sign it can do so here.

Here you will find a concise overview of the structure of the WG.

If you have any questions, please feel free to discuss them on this list or write to the steering group (rdmo-steuerungsgruppe@listserv.dfn.de).
