09.02.2021 Workshop Series “Data Management Plans in Research – From Fundamentals to Basic Issues”
Data management plans exist at the interface of concrete research projects, subject-specific standards and requirements of third-party funding bodies. Both specifications and the tools and aids available to create them are diverse, in constant development, and thus increasingly confusing. This poses open questions and challenges for researchers and research data infrastructure alike – regardless of their background experience. The four-part workshop series “Data management plans in research – from basics to fundamental questions” therefore brings together research, infrastructure and research funding and offers the opportunity to address the role and importance of data management plans from their different perspectives.
The workshop series will be organised and hosted by the UAG Data Management Plans of the DINI/nestor AG Forschungsdaten in cooperation with RDM.nrw in March 2021.
