The range of institutional services for research data management (RDM) is diverse and varies from consulting services and technical services such as backup and storage services to discipline-specific data analysis tools or documentation environments. The Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin addressed this diversity in the DFG-funded joint project FDNext and investigated the question of how services from service providers such as computing and media centres or university libraries can be selected and evaluated.

Dr. Denise Jäckel (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin), Coordinator of FDNext will take us through the findings of the three-year project period: a capability maturity model for services in RDM was developed that enables the RDM service portfolio to be strategically evaluated and identifies development potential.

Speaker: Dr. Denise Jäckel (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin)

Chair: Maria Kiefer, HeFDI Coordination Office & Robert Werth, Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences
