Working Group 27 Qualitative Research Interdisciplinary Interpretation Group (2010–)

The Group was founded in 2010 and is currently comprised of six members from different departments that work on qualitative research projects. At our meetings, we mainly interpret empirical materials and discuss methodical procedures.

We have varying methodological approaches but we all see ourselves as qualitative social researchers. The interdisciplinary access and perspectives of the individual participants affect the collaborative work in a fruitful way. By interpreting in the group, we accomplish a multi-dimensional sealing and a multifaceted interpretation perspective.

We meet regularly every three to four weeks for six to seven hours so we can work with focus on our material. Twice a year, we organize a two-day workshop as a sort of internal continued education session.
