Working Group 27 Qualitative Research Interdisciplinary Interpretation Group (2010–)

This group was founded in 2010 and involves participants from various departments who are engaged in qualitative research projects. At our meetings, we interpret data from qualitative research and discuss issues of methodical and methodological procedure. Moreover, the group provides an egalitarian setting to discuss structural and personal challenges encountered in the context of the participants’ own qualification projects.

Although we pursue different methodological approaches, we all see ourselves as qualitative social researchers. The interdisciplinary approaches and perspectives of each of the participants provide fertile input for our collaboration. Group interpretation enables us to consolidate our results in multiple dimensions and enriches interpretive analysis by applying a multi-faceted perspective.
