As this programme primarily teaches you skills and knowledge for research and laboratory work, it especially qualifies you for jobs
- in an academic environment
- in research institutes (e.g. MPI, PEI, RKI)
- in the pharmaceutical industry
- in the research-oriented private sector
- in the public health sector
- in consulting
The course "Berufspraxis" can be elected during the programme and offers insight into possible jobs in the institutions above. While a bachelor's degree represents a completed course of study and qualifies graduates for professional employment, research-focused institutions often expect a master's degree or a PhD.
