Transfer Department

Marburg University’s Transfer Department is the first point of contact for your related proposals, from the initial project idea to the realization of results. This is where the bridges between science, economics, society, politics, and culture are built.

Inventions and Patents

The core idea of Marburg University’s patenting and implementation strategy is to increase the transfer of knowledge and technology from the university into the economy.

Green Office WG

The Green Office is a group of students and employees at Marburg University. Its mission is to be a place for empowerment and networking with regards to sustainability projects at the university.
Creativity and Social Innovation Hub Marburg (CIM)

The CIM is a cooperation between Marburg University and the City of Marburg. CIM offers a virtual platform as well as the CIM Hub in the Oberstadt. The aim here is to discover and establish new forms of collaboration. (German)

The XSpaces are innovative and interconnected workspaces that open up new opportunities for creative cooperation. Creative collaboration generates new innovations and makes the realization of new ideas and transformative, future-oriented concepts possible.
Marburg Module

At the Marburg Module, students and educators from different disciplines work together on topical issues of social relevance that require an interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary approach, such as issues relating to climate protection, social participation, or quality of life. (German)
