Why Marburg is a great place to study Biomedical Science 

In contrast to other Biomedical Science programs this program is connected to the School of Medicine. Therefore studying in Marburg gives you the possibility to be part of the medical teaching and research from the start. 

Another special feature of the program in Marburg is the specialization on one of the four majors infection biology, neurobiology, tumor biology or cell biology, as those represent the scientific research areas of the School of Medicine. Therefore the program is research oriented and from the fourth semester on you will participate in subject-specific practical-courses alone or in small groups in different research labs. During this time you are part of the research groups and are taught in a friendly atmosphere. You will get to know the daily-work routine in a laboratory with a very good staff-student ratio.
