Perception of safety of patients with idiopathic Parkinson's syndrome (iPS)

Description

This study will examine the perspective of neurologists on their role in primary palliative care for patients with neurological diseases. Given the increase in the prevalence of these diseases due to demographic changes, end-of-life care for this population is of utmost importance. Neurological conditions are currently underrepresented in specialised palliative care, highlighting the primary responsibility of neurologists in end-of-life care for these patients. By doing so, we can ensure that patients with neurological conditions receive the best possible care from knowledgeable and competent professionals.

This study aims to identify the resources and needs of neurologists to develop targeted approaches that will strengthen palliative care. The knowledge acquired will enhance patient care quality and serve as a foundation for developing practice-relevant training programs to ensure optimal palliative care in the neurological context.
