EU Research Funding
Within its current framework program Horizon Europe (2012-2027), the European Commission is promoting EU-wide research and innovation. The research framework program aims to build a knowledge- and innovation-based society and a competitive economy across the EU, while also contributing to sustainable development.
Marburg University is carrying out multiple research projects in-situ funded by the European Union. Over the following pages, you will find an overview of all current projects. One focus is on acquiring grants from the European Research Council (ERC). The ERC Network Marburg, established specifically at Marburg University, supports ERC applicants and grantees and offers valuable opportunities for exchanging experiences through regular events.
If you are intending to apply for EU funding for a particular research project, or if you have any queries or questions concerning EU research funding options, you will find further information in the section "Consultation and Contact Details".
