How to find the Lahnberge Campus

By car

Arriving from the North (direction Kassel) on the federal highway B3 take the exit "Wehrda" and follow the "Neue Kasseler Straße" till road signs "Uni-Lahnberge" lead your way uphill to the Lahnberge Campus. Follow the signs to "Hans-Meerwein-Straße".

Arriving from the South (Gießen/Frankfurt) take the exit "Marburg-Süd" and follow the signs to "Uni-Lahnberge" way uphill to "Hans-Meerwein-Straße".

At the gate push the receiver button and you will be let in as Prof. Koch's guest. Follow the road all the way down behind the building. Construction works are done all over the campus and parking of guests is tolerated along the pathways.  

By train and bus

By bus from the Main Station

You find the bus stop directly in front of the main train station (Hauptbahnhof). The busses number 2, 7, 9, 11 head towards 'Hans-Meerwein-Straße'. Prices and departure times can be found in the webpages of the local transport service  (www.rmv.de). The bus ride takes about 13 minutes.

From the train station Marburg South (Südbahnhof) or the city

Take bus number 7 direction Lahnberge (Uni-Klinikum) . The ride to the Lahnberge takes about 13 minutes. Bus No. 7 is a circling line. Busses head to the Lahnberge Campus from the South or North. 

Through the campus

Depending from which direction you arrive to Hans-Meerwein-Straße, you might have to cross the bridge. Please check the map below. Follow the pathway, pass two junctions on your left hand side. In front of the Chemistry building follow the pathway and turn left. You pass in between several buildings and pass below a corridor. Turn to the right and enter the multi-purpose-building H04 (Mehrzweckgebäude) through the main entrance. Head straight ahead through the foyer, up some steps and straight ahead along the corridor through a glass door. Continue straight ahead and at the end of the corridor you find the Semiconductor Photonics (AG Halbleiterphotonik).
