Studying
With some 3,500 students and a large variety of courses, the Department of German Studies and Arts is one of the largest departments of Philipps-Universität Marburg. The department provides a broad range of degree programmes in German studies, media studies, musicology, art history and fine arts.
All undergraduate degree programmes qualifying for a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in German Studies – and also the teacher training course Teaching at Secondary Schools – have an interdisciplinary structure. This structure provides the option to combine courses from other subjects and faculties.
