What to expect from this session?

The seminar begins with an introductory part on the challenges that geopolitical developments pose for the future of globalization. These challenges will be discussed from both a theoretical and a practical perspective. In a second part, participants will develop and discuss scenarios for the future economic and political development of major geopolitical players such as the European Union, the United States, China, and India. The third part focuses on the implications of these scenarios for the internationalization strategies and international market activities of companies from different world regions. Selected geopolitical scenarios and their implications for companies will be developed and presented by students and discussed jointly in class. The seminar is therefore highly interactive and builds on the active participation of all students.
