Sustainability Analyses
Photovoltaics is the most important energy technology for cost-effective climate protection. Perovskite solar cells are the most promising technology for the next generation of solar cells. To determine the direction in which this technology needs to be further developed, we conduct sustainability studies. For example, we investigate which materials are sustainably available for a terawatt-scale photovoltaic industry. Within the photovoltaics research community, we are global leaders in the field of sustainability studies.
