Research Projects

In interdisciplinary research networks, scholars work on externally funded projects addressing a range of thematic and regional focuses. These larger collaborative projects often grow out of individual research initiatives, in which new thematic fields are explored, collaborations are established, and further research questions are developed. The Research Working Groups (Forschungs-AGs) are platforms where scholars collaborate across disciplines on specific topics. The results of this collaboration feed into academic events and publications, and serve as a starting point for the development of new research projects.
