In the wake of the Covid 19 pandemic, it is unmistakable: open research data are elementary for solving societal challenges. Even if you think "But not my data, I don't work on central current issues", I would like to convince you of the opposite: Did you know, for example, that decades-old recordings of animal voices are now used in biodiversity research? The underlying central principle for making scientific exchange open is "Open Science". In this event, you will learn what is behind this. You will also gain a first insight into the practical steps that need to be taken in order to make your data publicly accessible.
