Current Event: Search, find and use research data
Date: 01.03.2023, 10 a.m:
Presented by: Andre Pietsch, Justus-Liebig University Gießen
Duration: 2 hours
One of the most important goals of open access publication of research data is that these data are prepared in such a way that they can be re-used by other researchers as easily as possible. In reality, however, it is still the case in both the business and research sectors that much more data is newly created than is re-used. This is often due to a lack of knowledge about how and where to search for this data. This lecture will therefore show you, on the one hand, possibilities for searching and finding existing research data and, on the other hand, rules that you should observe when re-using research data.
