International Student Orientation

You are an international student and you are looking for: Support with formalities (e.g. register with the local authorities) Contact with other international and German students? Then we would like to invite you to join our International Student Orientation - a one week program that helps you to ease the transition to Marburg University.

As an international student, you’ll be met with a warm welcome when you arrive on campus. We’ll make sure you get all the support you need to make the most of your student experience at Marburg University.
At the start of your studies our orientation program guides you through your initial administrative tasks, like taking out a German health insurance or getting your student ID to hook up to the internet. During this one-week program, we will help you cut through most of the red tape and assist you with all the formalities such as university enrolment or opening a bank account. Likewise, there will be several get-togethers during which you will have the chance to get in touch with other international and German students and make first friends.
