09.04.2024 High-ranking Delegation of Tongji University (Shanghai) visits Marburg

Lead by the president of Tongji University (Shanghai), Professor Qinghua ZHENG, the high-ranking delegates of University of Marburg’s long-term partner were greeted by deputy president Evelyn Korn in Marburg, March 19th 2024. The deans of Tongji’s School of Medicine and Tongji’s School of Foreign Languages discussed with the partners in Marburg how to strengthen and expand cooperation in research and teaching. One result of the discussions, among others, is the renewal of a contract for the double degree program “German as a Foreign Language”.

Tongji University and University of Marburg cooperate since 1990, and University of Marburg is one of six strategic partners in Germany of one of China’s oldest and most renowned universities.
