European and international research funding and scholarships

1.  European research funding programmes

• Marie Skłodowska-Curie individual fellowships for cross-border mobility (European fellowships for researchers coming to Europe or conducting research in Europe in another country, non-European fellowships for secondments from Europe to other countries outside Europe)
• Starting Grants or Consolidator Grants from the European Research Council (ERC) for pioneering research within the framework of a separate research group

2. International research funding programmes

• Human Frontier Science Programm - promotes early career researchers and international cooperation in the interdisciplinary life sciences
  
  • Young Investigators' Grants for interdisciplinary, international research teams of early career researchers with doctorates
  • Postdoctoral Fellowships for research in new areas and in a different country than before
