The seminar is designed to help students and academics to follow their study, publication and research plans successully.

Synopsis

1. Academic study and doctoral thesis as projects
   What is a project, what is a job? – What are the advantages of efficient project management? – Project clarification through mind mapping – How can I define targets? – How can I define an appropriate time frame? – Documentation of project progress – How can I control the realization of the project?
2. Management of typical academic projects for junior researchers
   Presentations in seminars and meetings – Presentations at conferences - Projects with more than one participants - Papers and theses - Disputation
3. Work-life balance
   How can I prepare for the career I am looking for? – Urgency and importance of tasks – Effective time planning

This seminar is sponsored by the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics for key qualifications in the curriculum. Due to the sponsoring, students who need this seminar as key qualification seminar in their curriculum get spots preferred. Please state in your registration if you need the seminar as key qualification seminar in your curriculum. This registration is binding - in default of appearance we have to inform the Student Advisory Service about this failure.
