Student advice

Student advice concerning the study of Indology and Tibetology at the University of Marburg can be had from the members of the academic staff.

International students can get useful information and support from the office for Internationale Studentische Angelegenheiten (ISA). Additional information is provided here.

For general orientation and advice concerning universities and university studies please consult the office of the Zentrale Allgemeine Studienberatung (ZAS). The office also gives advice on the following matters: problems with choice of courses, change of courses and universities, psycho-social questions (e.g., concerning adaptation, learning and work) and interruption of studies. The office also arranges for advice in a particular department, career advice, psycho-therapeutical and other kinds of advice and attempts to coordinate everything the University offers regarding advice to students. The office has an Infothek with material for student orientation and career choice.
