Orientation for international students

The orientation program is designed to help new international students ease into their studies at the Philipps-Universität and their life in Marburg. Our tutors, who are themselves students at the Philipps-Universität, help new students take care of all formalities and necessary visits to various local authorities.

The orientation programme in March is targeted at exchange students who are taking part in the pre-study German language course teilnehmen.

The orientation programme in April is targeted at exchange students who are not taking part in the language course and at students enrolled in our full degree programs.

The registration for the orientation programme in September and October is open in mi-july here. 

Faculty orientation weeks

Here you can find information about the additional subject-specific orientation programming offered by your academic faculty (faculty orientation weeks), which take place immediately before the start of the semester.
