von Anfang Juli bis Ende August 2018 wird Prof. Dr. Laith Hussein, Head of the Department of Archaeology in the College of Arts, Universität Baghdad, als Gastdozent am FG Altorientalistik (Centrum für Nah- und Mittelost-Studien) forschen. Sein Forschungsprojekt "Neues zu "Nungal im Ekur". Eine Edition von IM 208300" wird von der Gerda Henkel-Stiftung gefördert.
