The ifG Marburg is dedicated to interdisciplinary research in the fields of Business and Economics at the intersection with legal and regulatory issues, and in this role seeks to facilitate a comprehensive transfer of knowledge to the cooperative sector.
The institute’s work places particular emphasis on the close integration of academic and applied requirements in the context of current developments in the areas of corporate governance, (CSR) disclosure and auditing, regulatory (banking) policies, as well as the analysis of new business models in the context of digitalization and support for the energy transition - including through investment-related feasibility analyses that account for multiple risks and accompanying empirical analyses.
