Expertise in Cooperative Banking
The ongoing regulation of capital market activities, primarily in the context of European requirements (e.g., Basel II and III, the ECB, and the SREP), imposes a wide range of challenges on cooperative associations and central institutions as well as individual (credit) cooperatives relating to both specific implementation issues and the development of new solutions. In this context, the work of the ifG Marburg focuses primarily on the following areas:
- International Financial Reporting (Interpretation of banking and insurance-specific regulations)
- Measuring Corporate Governance Risks (Corporate Governance Ratings)
- Risk Management (primarily, but not exclusively, credit risk modeling)
