14.07.2025 Welcoming the first members to the new @ifG Marburg expert panel!
The ifG Marburg is pleased to welcome the first members of its newly established expert panel, which is designed to support the Institute’s Executive Board in planning and implementing research projects as well as teaching and other events, and is composed of leading figures from the cooperative sector and academia. Prof. Dr. Elmar Lukas, Dr. Michael Wellmann (tax consultant and certified public accountant), and Dr. Andreas Wieg were recently appointed as the first three members. As experts, they will each contribute their own unique professional perspectives to the institute’s work, thereby enriching the development of the ifG Marburg in a variety of ways.
Professor Dr. Elmar Lukas (Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg) focuses his academic work on modeling and empirically testing the decision-making behavior of economic actors under uncertainty, with a particular emphasis on researching the potential and risks of “smart finance” as well as technological innovations in the field of the energy transition.
Dr. Andreas Wieg (DGRV e.V.) is a department head in the Executive Board Staff of DGRV e.V. (Berlin) and also serves as head of the Federal Office for Energy Cooperatives at DGRV e.V. Dr. Wieg has been teaching on current business and regulatory issues facing cooperatives for some time and focuses his professional work primarily on (inter)national cooperative start-ups and issues related to the energy transition.
