Undergraduate Research Projects @UTD

Since the summer of 2024, the ifG Marburg has been coordinating and supervising “Undergraduate Research Projects,” in which students from various disciplines at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD)’s Hobson Wildenthal Honors College come to Marburg for a 2.5-month research stay from June to August. The participants are students nearing the completion of their BSc studies who, outside the regular curriculum, are given the opportunity to engage with research topics early on to identify future possibilities and spark their interest. In this program, the ifG Marburg regularly offers projects from the institute’s core research areas, as well as from interdisciplinary fields, such as political science. The research phase concludes with short presentations and final reports, delivered at a symposium attended by representatives from UTD.
