Eating

The Student Service operates various canteens and cafeterias that serve everything from breakfast to dinner (except on Sundays). There are many restaurants with special offers for students in the historical city centre. Supermarkets are open from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays and public holidays, almost all shops are closed.

Student engagement

The student union represents the interests of the school’s student body and participates in all important decision-making processes within the school. Every student can join the student union. Currently, around 50 students are active in the student union. LINK

The Economics & Institutions students have developed some informal initiatives on their own, such as reading groups, a student journal, and social events like running dinners. Contact the student advisors econinst@wiwi.uni-marburg.de to receive more information.

You can find all formally recognized student initiatives at our faculty here.
