Online Campaigning in the 2023 Hessian State Elections

The goal of this project is to reconstruct the online campaign of the Hessian state election and to gain an understanding of which topics were addressed by parties and candidates. To achieve this goal, fully automated topic models were created from the Facebook posts of candidates and parties. By Patrick Meckel.

Wahl-O-Mat Network Analysis

The R code creates a network analysis of the parties that ran in the 2024 European election in Germany. The strength of the edges between individual parties is determined by the number of questions they answered in the same way in the Wahl-O-Mat. By Jürgen Lorenz.
