Active Student Council of Political Science
The Active Student Council of Political Science consists of a voluntary association of students from the Political Science program. Each person participates out of personal interest and commitment — or anyone can join the Active Student Council out of their own interest, as members do not need to be elected. The amount of time each person dedicates to the work is self-determined — it is meant to be enjoyable, not a requirement!
Student Council Work
Our work includes representing the interests of students to professors, lecturers, and other university actors, representing students' interests in various university political bodies, answering questions about studying Political Science, organizing the orientation program/first-week activities, and organizing various events such as readings or parties.
Participation
The best way to get an initial insight into student council work is to attend our weekly meeting. Feel free to drop by casually: Every Wednesday at 6:30 PM in our student council room at Ketzerbach 63, 35032 Marburg.
